It’s been a long time coming. From first conceiving the idea, to writing it all down, to testing it with an audience to finally publishing it’s been a wild and very educational ride.

The Knight Mouse is a childrens book about talking animals who live in a valley full of adventure. Knights fight bad guys, bears try to rule the forest, and lost king’s are found.

There’s no room for websites in the valley, but we do need them outside the valley. It looks pretty darn good if I do say so myself.

Next up, I’m working on getting some physical copies printed up. I have a few pre-orders (shockingly) that I would like to fulfill but this has opened a whole new can of worms like, how to print, take payment, and ship these out.

It works fine when you are hand delivering them and taking a check, but the risks involved in payment from strangers is a whole other thing. The first of which is just simple trust. I would not expect them to trust me send them something after they sent money, and conversely I would not trust them to just send money after already receiving the goods.

And what do you even price it at?! I cannot remain competitive with other books which get printed at volume. I suppose people willing to take a chance on an independent author are also willing to pay a little more than something they find at a bookstore (if those even exist anymore).

Let’s hope so.
