The Knight Mouse Book 1 is in the Northbrook Public Library, and by extension a few other libraries through inter-library loans.
It was not so hard a process, but I did go about it backwards. This is what I get for trying to do things face to face. You have to fill out a form online and then take that all in with your book at the same time.
Personally, I find it silly that there is not some way to take care of everything at the library, but I’m not a librarian.
Anyway, it’s kind of cool to be published and on top of that in the library. It legitimizes it quite a bit. Also, I figured out what to do with all those ruined books. I’m going to be dropping them into coffee shops and little libraries around here. And I’ll take some with me when I travel and drop more.
I would feel bad selling the ones that are in ok condition.
- Because the quality of the print is sub-par
- They were free because the printer just claimed them on UPS as trashed.
Do you have a need for gently damaged books? Preferably to place in some sort of public place like a school library, or your small business? Let me know directly, knightmousestories@gmail.com.
