It is unfortunate, but a learning exercise, to find that my second order of books was damaged in transit. I was always skeptical when I would read about other self-produced projects and how they were pushed back a month when something like this happened.

Joke’s on me I suppose.

I will say that my printer is taking great care of me and that it’s UPS that is receiving the full brunt of my ire.

It’s feels like no effort was made to preserve what was inside. I could see it being squashed and still damaging books. I’d still be mad, but mostly at the packing of the books. Here it looks like someone ripped the box open and poorly taped it back up, as if a small piece of packing tape was going to perform miracles.

I’m told they will have to destroy the order. That makes sense to me, but I’d love to dump these in those little library boxes you see all over or coffee shops or something.
